The ROCK ISLAND had a style all their own,
which has endeared it to its many fans. While best known for their
famed passenger trains, the ROCK ISLAND also operated a varied fleet
of cabooses. Many car styles were rostered, from "standard"
cupola hacks to mixed cabooses for use on branchline passenger runs.
This all-new set covers the Rock's wood cars, and some of
the early steel hacks bought in the 50's.

Created
to serve the Pacific Northwest's enormous lumber industry, EVERGREEN
FREIGHT CAR CORPORATION's huge fleet of insulated olive-green boxcars
were a common sight across the West.
Associated with the Southern Pacific Railroad, EVERGREEN seemingly
disappeared as quickly as they arrived on the scene, with their cars
going back to parent SP in the late 70's. This set features all-new
artwork, and is just the thing for all of the new insulated boxcar
models on the market.
Whether you paint some cars from scratch, or want to renumber pre-painted
EVERGREEN models, this set is a must-have for the Western modeler.
